Making A Difference

Recording-Breaking Year for Change Your Pace

Recording-Breaking Year for Change Your Pace

The Seeley Lake Community Foundation's Change Your Pace Challenge fundraising event in May was a big success again for the USVHS. This year we raised over $11,386 thanks to the many donors who contributed. Their donations were increased by 61 cents to the dollar. This matching funds program is a great boon to the USVHS and the many other local entities involved.

Clearwater Properties donated $2,608 to USVHS as part of their 'Give Back to the Community' event. Owner and broker, Kevin Wetherell presented the check to USVHS president Steve Lamar.

How can you help?

Keeping the Swan Valley Museum open requires a team of dedicated volunteers, inspired members and consistent financial support in order to have a viable operation and be able to pay the many expenses such as electricity, heat, maintenance, insurance, taxes and upgrades. To this end we are actively growing our membership and inviting new donors along on our exciting journey. As the saying goes "many hands make light work" and this endeavor is no different. We invite you to begin, or continue, your support of the USVHS through membership, volunteering or donations (one time, monthly, yearly or lifetime options).

We are proud to call Swan Valley our home and look forward to continuing to preserve our rich history!

Thank you volunteers!
